The woodworm pesticide is ready-to-use and has a residual effect of 10 years, so if you have treated the wood with Embasol woodworm kill, no woodworm or longhorn beetle will enter the wood for 10 years.

First remove dust, dirt and drilling dust from the wood. This must be done dry. If the longhorn beetle is infested, you must first open the boreholes and brush out the existing borer dust as much as possible. Before treating the wood with the woodworm pesticide, first remove any existing stain, paint or wax layers.

You can apply this product with a brush or a roller.

Check the wood regularly after control (at least 1 year after control). If there are still woodworms or longhorn beetles in the wood, the wood must be re-treated locally in the places where you still find drilling dust.
