The ultrasonic sound produced by the rat and mouse repellent is very annoying for the rodents. All you have to do is plug the repeller into a wall socket and the device is ready to use. The frequency that the repeller then transmits is 20 to 30 kHz. Mice and rats experience this frequency as very annoying and they will therefore quickly leave the room.
